“When I was at the hospital I asked them if they had a bed at Courtland. I told them if they did not, I was not going anywhere else. I had been to Courtland before, when I fell and broke my hip – I came for rehabilitation. I was discouraged, but they helped me rehab and go home. They even took me to my house and did a home treatment to make sure I was going to be safe – the therapist even went with me around my garden and gave me suggestions to remain safe! If I have to be away from home, this is where I would want to be!”
